Note: This article refers to the soon-to-be-released new, updated Pastoral Visits view
Church360° offers a set of visit types to choose from when recording your pastoral visits. These likely cover most of the types of visits you may want to record, but in case it does not, you also have the option to add new visit types when entering a pastoral visit.
Please note: Once a new type has been added, it cannot be deleted without deleting all visits that have that type selected, so check and make sure that there's not already an existing type that suits you before adding.
To add a new type while adding a new visit in the Pastoral Visits view,
- In the "New Visit" window, click in the "Visit Type(s)" field.
- Start typing where it says "Select...", and you'll see a plus sign appear.
- Finish entering the name of the new type you want to add, and click the plus sign. This will both add and select the new type.
To add a new type while adding a new visit in an individual record,
- Click the plus sign in the Timeline and select Pastoral Visit.
- In the "type(s)" field, enter the new type and press Enter. This will both add and select the new type.
