Users can add past or future entries for touchpoints from church administration from the Pastoral Visits view under People.
The Pastoral Visits view allows visits or other points of contact to be recorded so that pastors (or other church staff) can keep track of whom they have seen, haven’t seen, and should be visiting next.
To add a new pastoral visit,
1. Click on the gear icon to go to People.
2. Go to the Pastoral Visits view.
3. On the entry row at the top of the list, enter in the date, or use the calendar to select the date of the visit.
4. Choose the name of the person (or household) being visited in the “Visit for” drop-down box.
5. Choose the names of the visitor(s) in the “Visit by” box. You can add multiple visitors to one visit.
6. Enter in the type of visit in the “Type(s)” box. You can add multiple Types to one visit.
- Note: This is not where you put details related to the visit. That will be done as a note on the person or household record itself. For more information regarding notes, please visit this article.
7. When all information is correct, click the “Add Visit” button to add the entry to the list.
8. If the visitor has notes during or after the visit, they can navigate to the person or household record and add a note as needed.
