Introduction to Forms

Follow
Church360° Forms is a module for creating and distributing customizable forms to collect information from recipients.  The Forms module is flexible, allowing you to add fields to collect various kinds of data.

Forms can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including:
  • Event registrations and sign-ups
  • Attendance tracking
  • Surveys and feedback collection
  • Volunteer coordination
  • General information gathering
How Forms Work
Forms in Church360° are built by adding fields to collect specific types of information. These fields can range from simple text responses to structured data like contact information or RSVP selections.
Once your form is created and shared:
  1. Recipients complete and submit the form
  2. Responses are collected automatically
  3. You can review, manage, and export results from within Church360°
Forms can also be connected to events or calendars, allowing you to use responses for attendance tracking where applicable.

Key Capabilities
With the Forms tool, you can:
  • Create fully customizable forms
  • Add a variety of field types to capture different kinds of data
  • View and export form responses
  • Contact respondents directly
  • Connect forms to events or calendars
  • Record attendance (with proper permissions and configuration)
Access and Permissions
Some features, especially those related to events and attendance, require specific permissions.

To use Church360° Forms, a user must have an Events role with the Can Manage Events permission enabled. If they also want to use forms for attendance tracking, ensure their role includes the Can Enter Attendance permission.

:warning: Without these permissions, access to forms will be limited or nonexistent.

When Should You Use Forms?
Forms are ideal anytime you need to collect structured information from a group of people. For example:
  • Before an event → collect registrations and RSVPs
  • After an event → gather feedback
  • Ongoing → track attendance or participation
  • Anytime → update member information, poll the congregation on any topic
