When you are editing only one person’s information, adding Tags from that person’s profile is more convenient than using the Mass Add/Remove Tags feature.
To add (or remove) a tag when on a person's profile,
1. From the People view, click on the individual’s name to open their profile.
2. The Tags section is located on the right-hand side of the Information tab in the profile view, below Custom Fields.
3. To add a new tag, hover your mouse in the space below the Tags header until the edit pencil appears and click it.
4. Click in the box that appears below "Tag(s)" to expand the drop-down, then use the checkboxes to add or remove tags as needed.
5. Click outside of the box to close the drop-down, then click Save to apply the changes.
