Navigating a Profile

An individual’s profile displays specific information about the individual and is divided and subdivided into distinct content areas.

The three main areas are the top name banner, the Information tab, and the Timeline tab.

Name Banner

The individual's name, photo (when provided), and membership status are displayed in the top banner section of the profile.  For information on the different membership status designations, see Membership Statuses Explained

  • The Download drop-down will allow you to select to export the following for the individual:
  • The Print button will open a print preview of their profile, which you can then print or save as a PDF.
  • And the Edit drop-down will allow you to select one of the options below:
    • Edit Profile Photo
      • This will open a window where you can add, replace, delete, or crop a photo of the individual.  For details, see:
    • Edit Name
      • This allows access to the individual’s Title, Preferred Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Legal Name, Maiden Name, and Suffix.  Note:  The Legal Name will be the name that is used on Contribution Statements.  For details, see:
    • Receive as Member (or Remove from Membership, depending on the individual's current membership status).  Here you will be able to select a date for the status change, select the received or removed by reason, and add a Note if desired.  For details, see:

At the bottom of the banner section, you will see Information and Timeline links or tabs you can use to select which of these data sections you wish to view.

Information Tab

The information tab provides you with details of the individual including contacts, relationships, demographics and more.

On the left side, there are two sections: 

1. Contact information is on the upper left, including:

2. Family - this section allows you to establish and see connections with the profiles of family members.  For details, see:

On the Right side, there are 4 sections:

1. Demographics/Dates - default fields to identify each person and their significant life events.  For details, see:

2. Custom Fields - these fields are created by Church360° users and are unique to your site, but the fields displayed will be the same across all profiles.  They can include dates, drop-lists, links to another person's profile or to a website, and text fields.  For details, see:

3. Tags - these are also unique items created by Church360° users, but each profile can have different tags applied, to attribute a common trait that person shares with others. For details, see:

4. Quick Links - these are system-generated and consistent across all profiles to show the types of data seen below.  Most can be clicked on to take you to more information about the individual. For details, see:

Timeline Tab

The timeline tab will show the notes, visits, and life events that have been recorded for this individual over time.
