About Quick Actions
Quick Actions is a new feature in Church360° that allows you to quickly jump to common tasks from anywhere on your site without navigating through menus.
There are two separate Quick Actions tools, Ledger Quick Actions, and Quick Actions. This article describes the Quick Actions tool for Ledger, and can be accessed as described below from anywhere inside the Ledger portion of the software.
Accessing Quick Actions
- Log in to your Church360° site and open the Ledger module.
- Press the keyboard shortcut:
Ctrl + Shift + S
(Hold down Ctrl and Shift, then press the S key.) - A Quick Actions box will appear on your screen.
Available Tasks in Quick Actions
From the Quick Actions box, you can quickly perform these tasks:
- Add a Payee - Create a new Payee.
- Add a Transaction - Generate a transaction of any type.
- Add an Account - Add to your Chart of Accounts.
- Add a Tag - Set up new Report Tags.
- Print Checks - Open the check printing queue.
Tips
Be sure you are in the Ledger portion of the software before using the keyboard shortcut, to avoid bringing up the wrong Quick Actions tool.
Use this feature to save time and avoid navigating through multiple menus.
