Deleting Events

When events are cancelled or entered by mistake, users can open an event's details and delete it.

If the event is a repeating event, users can also choose to delete only an event on a single date or all instances of the event.

Note: If an event with attendance records is deleted, those attendance records will be purged as well. This action cannot be undone.

To delete an event,

1. Click the icon to go to Events. The default view for Events is the Event Calendar view.

2. Find the event on the calendar view and click on it to open it for editing. If the deletion is meant for a particular date, use the event on the date in question.

3. At the bottom of the edit window, click "Delete this event".

  • If this is a repeating event, a prompt will appear to ask if this deletion is only for the date selected or only future events. Click the red “Delete Event” button to finalize your deletion.
