Church360° has had a Ledger Search tool exclusive to that part of the software for some time. We are now introducing a new Search tool that will allow you to quickly find and open an individual or household record from anywhere (outside of the Ledger portion of the software). This allows you to jump directly between records without returning to the People view, saving time and clicks.
A new icon has been added to the navigation bar just under the Settings gear to access this Search feature.
How to Use the Search Feature in Church360°
Step 1: Open the Search
- Click the magnifying glass icon.
- You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S from anywhere outside of the Ledger portion of the software.
Step 2: Choose What to Search
- In the Search panel, use the drop-down menu to select:
- People (search individual profiles)
- Or Households (search household records)
- Or leave All selected to search both categories
Step 3: Enter Your Search Term
- In the search field, type all or part of any of the following and hit Enter:
- Name
- Email Address
- Envelope Number
- Phone Number
Step 4: Review Search Results
- As you type, matching results will appear in a list.
- Scroll through the results if needed.
- You can either hit Enter when your choice is highlighted or click with your mouse to select and open the record.
