Over the years, Church360° has introduced various security updates to ensure only approved users have access to your Church360° site. These include additional password requirements, automatic logouts, password expiration options, and the ability to use Passkeys.
In addition to these security updates, starting in July, all logins used for Church360° will require multi-factor authentication.
With this update, users will enter their username or email address on their site's login page and choose between a password or Passkey option. If password is chosen, an email containing a one-time code will automatically be sent to the email address associated with the login. This one-time code will need to be entered into the login screen within five minutes to log in.
Since Multi-Factor Authentication through Email uses the user's Login email address stored on the User Settings page, we encourage all users to review this email address before the July 8th changeover. In addition, Administrators should communicate with their Church office about this upcoming change.
If users receive a one-time code message but have not logged in recently, it is recommended that they reset their password and sign out of all devices from their User Settings on their site.
