The Roles view contains the different groupings of various permissions that can then be assigned to a login.
Action button
Like other views, the Roles view has action buttons for specific tasks. Currently, there is only one available action for Roles.
- Add Role - This button will open a window to create a new role for the site.
Role Sections and List
Under Roles, users can see all available Roles, along with their granular permissions.
Roles and their permissions are divided into categories based on the area of the software. Each section has default roles with common permission groupings that users can use as needed.

Actions for Roles
- Edit Role - The pencil icon to the far right of the Role will open it for editing. Users can rename a role or edit its permissions. The Administrator Role for each category cannot be edited.
- Delete Role - The trash can icon to the far right of the Role will remove it. A role cannot be deleted if it's currently assigned to a Login. The Administrator Role for each category cannot be deleted.
