Creating Smart Groups

Follow

Church360° Members includes the capability to filter and organize your views and reports using traits found in person records using a feature called Smart Groups.

Smart Groups cluster people together based on a certain set of criteria that you determine that you can then save for future use.

You can create these groups either from the Smart Group page, which lists all of the built-in and created Smart Groups for your site, or directly from the People View.

2. On the navigation menu on the left, select “Smart Groups” under the People section.

Notes:

  • Once a Smart Group is saved in Church360°, it will automatically stay up-to-date.
  • As profiles are added or changed, people will be included in or removed from the group based on whether they meet the criteria.
  • These updates are recorded in the Event Log. For example, you might see a message like:
Church360° added 1 person to [Smart Group name]
  • To improve performance, the group data is cached daily, allowing for faster access when the group is selected.
