As opposed to selecting and grouping person records based on set criteria and fields, users can also manually label records to add a designation that can be used for filtering and grouping purposes.
In addition to adding tags directly to records from a profile or the People view, users can also create tags initially as an option that can be added to records later.
To add a new tag option in advance,
1. Click on the gear icon to open your Settings view.
2. On the navigation menu on the left, select “Tags” under the People section.
3. On the top line, enter in the tag name and select a color for the tag. Click “Add Tag” to add the new entry.
